Arcane Corporation was started in 1998 to provide software consulting services to medium and large corporations.
Today, Arcane Corporation functions primarily as a holding company for software development products. The Flash-Soft division of Arcane Corporation is the creator of FlashPoints SuppressionCAD, an application that helps fire equipment dealers quickly draw restaurant fire suppression systems and create submittals for the purpose of obtaining installation permits.
Denis Perreault is the CEO, President, and founder of Arcane Corporation. Mr. Perreault has over 40 years of system design and computer programming experience. He has consulted for Wellington Management (a very large financial management company based in Boston), for Deloitte on the Rhode Island State UHIP (Universal Health Interchange Program) Project, and a variety of other companies including printing, mail order, appraisal, distribution, and more.
In 2008, while creating a website for North East Fire & Safety of Bellingham, MA, Ray Daniels, the owner, proposed a project for a CAD program to draw restaurant fire suppression systems. Ray and Denis worked together to create FlashPoints SuppressionCAD. They began selling it through their company, Flash-Soft, Inc.
Ray Daniels passed away on November 14, 2025. Denis acquired his half of the company and merged Flash-Soft into Arcane Corporation, as the Flash-Soft division of Arcane Corporation.
